About ITI
Company HistoryITI was formed over 20 years ago, in 1983 and later went on to become part of the MDIS Publications group before being acquired by McGraw Hill in 1989. Following a management buy-out in late 1992, the company returned to private ownership as part of MDIS Publications, (later renamed Espicom Business Intelligence) which continues to provide high-quality news and information services for the Pharmaceutical and Medical Device Industries. In October 2004 the Espicom Telecommunications Division was once again the subject of an acquisition, this time by the former Managing Director of Espicom Business Intelligence; Mark Hamson, allowing it to become a dedicated, telecommunications-focused research organisation once again. The decision was taken at this time to revert to the original Company name, International Telecoms Intelligence (ITI) to better reflect the core-capabilities and mission of the new company.
